Hangzhou LeapVerse Technology Co., Ltd. (杭州次元跃迁科技有限公司), operating as LeapVerse (“we”, “us” or “our”), provides this Privacy Policy for leapverse.ai and our applications and services that link to it, including PlayPal - AI Sims (collectively, the “Services”). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information, and how you can exercise your choices. Contact us at contact@leapverse.ai.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. Depending on the Service and the features you use, this may include your email address, username, account preferences, and information you voluntarily provide when contacting support or interacting with a Service.
Usage and device information. We may process information about how the Services are used, device type (such as a VR headset model), technical logs, and aggregated usage statistics. Technical information can be personal information where it identifies or can be linked to an individual.
Platform information. If you access a Service through a third-party platform, information made available to us depends on the platform, the features used and the permissions you grant. For PlayPal on Meta Quest, platform-accessible information may include display name, username, user ID, profile pictures, avatars, age group, and followers or people you follow who also use the app, as disclosed by the Meta Store.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate and maintain the Services, apply your preferences, provide customer support, respond to enquiries, understand usage trends, improve user experience, and protect the reliability and security of the Services. We process information in accordance with applicable law and obtain consent where required.
3. AI interactions and permissions
Our products include AI companion experiences. Information you choose to provide while interacting with a feature is used to deliver that interaction. This general policy does not mean that every product collects every category of information. Product-specific notices and permission prompts describe any additional processing for the features concerned. Review those notices before providing information, and avoid sharing passwords, payment details or sensitive information that is unnecessary for the interaction.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations. In a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy obligations. Platform operators and infrastructure services may process information needed to provide their services; see the website and third-party platform sections below. Additional product-specific disclosures apply where a feature involves further sharing.
5. Website hosting and browser storage
The LeapVerse website uses Cloudflare Pages for hosting and delivery. Technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and timestamp, may be processed to deliver and protect the website. This website does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. It does not offer account registration or an AI chat interface. Language switching uses page links without saving a preference in cookies or local storage. This statement describes the website, not the data handling of every LeapVerse application.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing contact@leapverse.ai. After receiving and verifying a deletion request, we will deactivate the relevant account and permanently delete the associated data from our servers within 30 days. If applicable law requires us to retain specific records, we will explain the exception and retain those records only as required. Third-party platform accounts and records remain subject to the relevant platform’s own deletion processes.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update information through available account settings or contact us to request access, correction or deletion. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it, including by changing available device or application permissions. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, obtain a portable copy of your data, or complain to a competent authority. To make a request, contact contact@leapverse.ai and identify the Service and account concerned. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity; do not send your password.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, use and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please protect your account credentials and contact us if you suspect an issue involving your information.
9. Children and age requirements
The Services covered by this policy are not intended for children under 13, or anyone below a higher minimum age required by applicable law or the relevant product or platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected without the required authorization, we will take steps to delete it promptly. Follow the age rating and eligibility requirements of each product.
10. Third-party platforms and links
Our applications may be distributed through platforms such as Meta Quest. Platform operators process information under their own policies. Visiting a store, using a platform account or following an external link is subject to the relevant third party’s terms and privacy policy. This policy does not govern those independent services.
11. Policy updates
We may update this policy as our Services or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
